Marketing is always a challenge and every market is different. Some markets and age groups respond to traditional newspaper print such as highly populated retirement communities, while others may respond to SMM (Social Media Marketing.) I am pretty new at the SMM part of marketing, but I know that I must learn it or I will be left behind as the shift trends more towards the online marketing sector. I have gotten my feet wet a little with Facebook, but not much as my company has someone who manages this full time. So, I am in the process of figuring out Twitter.

I happen to be located in a highly populated retirement area, so we still run a lot of print ads with very good success. However, we would like to tap into a younger market and in order to do this I hope that learning how to properly use SMM we will be able to do that.
